THE BRIEF
Home Pride Cleaning is an independent domestic cleaning business with an established customer base and a straightforward online presence.
The client approached FLUX DEZIGN with an existing typographic wordmark and a four-page website, looking to develop a more distinctive visual identity and promotional materials to attract new customers.
The challenge was to create something approachable, memorable and professional, without losing the personal character of the business.
A LITTLE PERSONALITY GOES A LONG WAY
The new logo brings together a house, a smile and a scattering of sparkles, creating a friendly visual shorthand for the brand's promise:
"putting the sparkle back into your home"
A soft, fresh colour palette and playful graphic elements extended the identity beyond the logo, establishing a consistent visual language across print, digital communications and branded merchandise.
THE FLYER THAT WORKS HARDER
One of the most interesting challenges emerged during the development of a double-sided promotional flyer.
The client's cleaning availability changes regularly, meaning a conventional flyer advertising specific days or times would quickly become outdated. Reprinting the entire leaflet whenever a slot became available would be costly and wasteful.
Rather than designing another disposable flyer, I proposed a more flexible solution.
The front incorporated a circular graphic resembling a printed sticker. By investing in a compact label printer, the client could produce inexpensive 50 mm stickers displaying current availability and apply them directly to the pre-printed flyers.
This allowed the main leaflet to remain unchanged, making larger print runs more economical while keeping the information up to date.
One flyer. Changing availability. No unnecessary reprints.
